How long can I keep my roll-off? Your roll off is free for the first week (7 days). After that, there is a small daily cost for 8, 10, 12 & 15 cubic yard sizes and slightly more for the 30 yard size.
How much notice does TAM need to deliver and pick up a roll off? A one day notice to allow for scheduling is sufficient.
What if I don’t want to put my trash at the curb? There is a nominal monthly fee to go in a driveway to get the trash. Call for details.
What can I put in my recycling bin? All plastics labeled with the numbers 1-7, all glass jars/bottles, tin cans and paper (cardboard, newspaper, printer paper, junk mail, cereal/juice/food boxes, magazines, etc.) are acceptable. Everything should be clean.
Can I change my service once I start? YES! It is as simple as a phone call. You can change from weekly service to every other week, change your address, order special services like a spring cleaning roll off, and more.
What can I NOT put in my trash?
1. e-waste: Please do not include e-waste, which is electronic equipment (such as a TV, monitor, microwave, computer components, printers, etc.) View VT e-waste site for drop-off site information.
2. Hazardous Materials: This includes batteries, household chemicals, wet paint, etc. There are special times and locations.
Hazardous waste free collection days: Free household hazardous waste collection days are usually held in October o each year. Call for details.
Prescription medication collection: Prescription medications can be dropped off at the Bennington Police Station on South Street.
